FEA MINISTRIES   |  CAMP   |   MISSIONS   |   COMMUNITY

FEA MINISTRIES was founded in 1946 as the Florida Evangelistic Association, later FEA, to promote evangelism and revival. Started in 1946 by H. Robb French and his associates, FEA Ministries Inc. has been striving to spread revival and emphasize evangelism into the 21st century.

The first way that they did this was to start a camp meeting in February. Sea Breeze Camp Meeting starts the first Thursday of February of each year. As time passed a small community began to spring up around Hobe Sound. People began to come here to live and they began to get a burden for a place to train young people to go out into ministry. In 1960 Hobe Sound Bible Institute, now Hobe Sound Bible College began. As time passed, the groups of students would go out from the school to the Bahamas on mission trips. On one of those trips God spoke to a young student about starting a mission station on the Islands. This was the beginning of FEA Missions now called Hope International Missions which reaches literally around the world. As the community continued to grow, a church became established with those working for FEA, the school, as well as those who had come to put their children in school. Hobe Sound Bible Church is one of the largest holiness churches in America.

Each of these ministries is now separate from each other in many ways, yet they are inseparably linked with each other. FEA Ministries provides inexpensive housing for HSBC faculty and staff, as well as many of the facilities that the college needs to function. We also provide the buildings for Hobe Sound Bible Church, as well as some housing for the staff and pastors. As you can see, we are all inseparable. God has provided a place for people to come together, work together, and continue to pray for revival. We are striving to continue the vision of the founders.
