God has blessed us with a Bible study at the HIM Center here in Taiwan. Endeavoring to reach the people in the community, we invited ladies to attend on Wednesday mornings. We teach basic English conversation and phonics, as well as study the Bible using Dr. Palm's book Is God Really My Father? The ladies love to look up the references and read from the Bible. When we asked our ladies at the Bible study for a description of the events of the Chinese New Year, Lily responded, "That's when we worship our gods." Please pray as we teach them about the one true God who loves them and who answers prayer.

Reaching out builds your ministry
"What gift can I give to the Baby? I could ask Father for a lamb, but that wouldn't be from me. It has to be something special," said the young shepherd boy. "I know! I'll give Him my heart," he decided and knelt at the manger. The young actors gathered around him and the Baby, singing "Take my life and let it be consecrated, lord, to Thee."
Directing a Christmas program in Chinese seems like an impossible task, but God gave us efficient translators through Joyce and Susan.
The adults rallied to prepare the props, including a new platform for the church. Ben, a student of clothing design, and Nancy spent many hours preparing costumes. May God use the message to reach our Chinese youth and adults for Christ.
As you read this, you can see how much the church is helped as the people rally to work together. This has been a wonderful byproduct to see the church working together and growing.
