Catastrophic Earthquake Rocks Haiti

ON JANUARY 12, 2010, at 4:53pm, a 7.0 earthquake shook Port-au-Prince, Haiti. There is much devastation. We anticipate many expenses related to this catastrophe. Please pray for the people in Haiti and for wisdom as we assess the situation. 

HIM has a school and mission house in Grand Riviere and a church and orphanage in Port-au-Prince. At right is a photo of HIM Caribbean Regional Director Frank Vaughn and some of the children at the orphange in Port-au-Prince before the disaster.
