Exodus 17:12 "But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun."

We had requested prayer for Boris and Aleksei who are painting our house. They are only about 20% finished, due mainly to sickness and other problems. The weather has been great, but we need prayer for the workers!

We praise the Lord for our little daughter, Shoshanah Marie. She is doing well.
-
We praise the Lord for protecting Isaac two different time in the past few weeks. Once he received a concussion after falling off his bike and the next week he was hit right beside the eye with a stone. (Thankfully no permanent damage was done.)

We urgently need prayer for a situation in the family of one of our pastors. The problem could have long reaching negative affects in the mission.
-
Pray for us as we juggle all the responsibilities of the work, beginning to prepare to return to the U.S. in about six months and homeschooling.

Please hold them up in prayer! Altogether five teams will be helping the Marais' distribute 15,000 Bibles this year in the Choma area of Zambia.

For more than a year we have been praying for a new worker for our mailing ministries office, but the Lord has taken care of the ministries by healing Anna and Tamara and strengthening them so that this year they are answering more mail than they did last year.
-
We have also been praying for a long time for a qualified Russian leader for our Center, but the Lord has kept us going with the right combination of people, even though we must spend fifty percent of our time outside Russia. (mostly in nearby Finland)
-
Aleksei & Aliya Glushkov have been greatly blessed in keeping our youth ministries and children’s ministries going and growing. Aleksei also is most effective in leading Bible studies and preaching in our Center and in the village of Vozrozhdeniye.
-
The need for Bibles, New Testaments, and children’s literature is still as great as ever, but the Lord has provided so that we have never had to turn anyone away empty-handed. Now we are praying that the Lord will provide funds for the publication of Dr. Stephen Gibson’s book Practical Christianity, which has been translated into Russian by Valera Motovilov.
-
Lyudmila Fyodorovna, our hospital chaplain, needs prayer as she continues to visit the sick and invalids in the hospitals and in their homes, sharing the Gospel and sometimes helping with humanitarian aid.
-
Other workers in Vyborg Christian Center who need prayer are Lena Kotenko, who teaches art classes to children and helps in our kitchen, and Natasha Levzhinskaya, our bookkeeper.
-
Pray for the men who are painting our Center this summer — Boris M. and Aleksei F. The goal is to have the entire exterior of the Center painted by the 4th of July.
-
Next project needed is the wiring in the Center. The old wiring was done in the old Soviet way and is substandard. This is dangerous in an old wooden building, whose insulation is mostly sawdust. We must put new wiring in conduits in every room in the Center. This was already done with the new wiring for the electric heaters three years ago, but now all the old wiring needs to be converted.
-
Prayer is needed for our venerable Volkswagen van, 16 years old, which we are trusting will keep running one more year before “retirement,” whenever the Lord sends provision for a replacement.

Please pray for Galina, one of our students who is a new Christian, and her parents. Her father has some heart problems and is scheduled for open heart surgery. He is not a Christian and is worried about the surgery. We have encouraged Galina to share Christ with both of her parents. Please pray that she will know what to say to them and that they will accept Christ as their Savior.
She will also be going to Moscow to have an interview about getting a visa to go to the U.S. this summer with the work and travel program. She is very nervous about it and would appreciate your prayers. God bless you!
