HIM Department of Education exists to train tomorrow’s leaders today.
OUR MISSION
The Department of Education partners with HIM missionaries and national churches to provide training to equip Christian workers for effective servant leadership in churches within the Wesleyan tradition.
OUR VISION
In partnership with national church leaders, HIM Dept. of Education will:
- Assist Local churches in training children and youth, fulfilling the mandate od Deut. 6:6
- Prepare pastors for ordination, fulfilling the mandate of II Tim. 2:15.
- Provide training for lay workers in the local church, fulfilling the mandate of Eph. 4:16
- Develop leaders for national churches, fulfilling the mandate of Eph. 4:11-12
OUR STRATEGIC KINDS OF MINISTRIES
Grassroots training; discipleship material, Sunday school lessons, holiness doctrine; “Critical Issues” for today’s holiness church; history of missions; Christian academy (K12); Institute Level; on the job training through seminars; college; partnering with Wesley International Institute of Biblical Studies.
