A Note from Hope International Missions

Since 2020 Rick and Kandis Turner have served faithfully with Hope International Missions as missionaries to Guatemala and Honduras. During these years they were actively involved in language study and the development of self-help ministries to benefit our national pastors and their ministries. Late last year the Turners felt God was expanding their vision beyond the HIM Latin America region, and they returned home to Nebraska to develop more fully their ministry plans.

God has opened many doors of ministry opportunities for Rick and Kandis including work supporting hospitals and clinics around the world with their technology needs—the field in which Rick spent much of his professional life. After jointly praying about and discussing their future ministry, we decided the Turner’s plans are outside HIM’s scope of focus at this time.

Before joining HIM, Rick and Kandis ministered through a not-for-profit organization they founded named Proverbs 16, Inc. The Turners will continue their missionary work under this entity.

It is with great appreciation that we thank the Turners for their faithful service over the last several years. We wish them God’s richest blessings on their future ministry endeavors. You are receiving this letter because you are on the Turner’s prayer and financial support team. We will continue to process financial support for the Turners through the end of May at which point donations should be sent to Proverbs 16, Inc. Thank you for faithfully supporting the Turners with your prayer and finances. We know God will continue to use this couple to build His Kingdom in the days and years to come.
