Our goal in all ministry endeavors of Hope International Missions (HIM) is to make committed disciples of Christ. The process by which new Christians grow and mature in their walk with Christ takes time and patience. Right now there are many opportunities for service with HIM. Develop a thriving ministry with young people in Freeport, Grand Bahama. Assist the national pastor with shepherding the local church.
Teach English in a Christian school. This is a creative access country.
Teach in house churches, train small group leaders, and assist with current Christian education ministries. Serve as a counselor to first generation Christian families.
Teach English at a public school in Czech Republic and/or lead evangelistic English Clubs for people of all ages.
Coordinate the acquiring and distribution of Bibles and Christian literature in every area of the world.
Oversee and train church leadership in Mexico and Guatemala for further growth and expansion.
Husband - Work alongside national leaders to maintain and upgrade mission infrastructure. Wife - Minister to women in the local church. Nurture orphan children.
Teach English at a Christian school in Budapest and develop evangelistic English Clubs for people of all ages. Tutor high school students in English so they can pass their university entrance exams. Build relationships and have an opportunity to witness.
Lesotho is friendly to missionaries which allows them to evangelize immigrants from Buddhist (Chinese) and Muslim (Indian, Pakistan, and Singapore) backgrounds. HIM is seeking a missionary to evangelize these people with the goal of eventually training them to be sent back to their own countries as evangelists.
Reestablish a church in this vast city. Church building and parsonage available.
Begin working immediately in the public school system, teaching at all levels from grade school to university. In the future opportunities may evolve to work in a Christian day school.
Work with the indigent people of Mongolia. Possibilities include a homeless shelter, soup kitchen, mobile health service, targeted education services, jobs and live skills training, and much more.
Work among the high number of visually impaired people in Ulaanbaatar. Help people obtain resources, arrange transportation (anything from medical to government appointments), etc.
Counsel troubled individuals, mostly college-aged persons. Be comfortable dealing with topics of abuse, depression and suicide, and other sensitive topics.
Work with current missionaries and national leaders to build and expand the existing ministry to orphans and vulnerable children.
Oversee and expand the ministries including the New Horizons Center transition home for girls, an orphanage ministry and discipleship training/church planting ministries.
Develop and administer a training program in the orphanages for youth ages 13-18.
Work directly with the young women in the New Horizons Center. Responsibilities include life-skills training, counseling and spiritual training.
Organize discipleship training and growth groups with the goal of evangelization and church planting.
Minister to gypsy children. Develop weekly life-skills programs. Connect with youth through various activities such as sports camps.
Help a small group of believers in Johannesburg, South Africa, who have been asking HIM to start an English-speaking holiness church in this city. This would also include pastoral training.
Encourage, advise, and train pastors as they expand HIM's outreach to the Sotho speaking people in the central part of South Africa.
Coordinate the printing and distribution of Bibles an Christian literature to rural areas of southern Africa.
Teach English in a variety of settings. Need to be capable of organizing and conducting small group English Bible studies in homes, coffee shops, churches, and public schools or universities.
Help direct music programs including music instruction. Teach hymnology in HIM partner churches and offer private lessons for musical instruments or voice.
Help with pastoral and leadership training. Fill the pulpits of HIM partner churches in Taiwan when needed. Assist with current Bible study outreaches and help begin other outreaches with the goal of these outreaches growing into new churches.
Shepherd a newly planted church in Taiwan and train and mentor a Taiwanese pastor to take their place within two years. Also conduct English Bible studies in various locations.
Help organize classes, direct programs, teach children in English and Bible classes, teach Sunday school and junior church, and train children’s workers in Asia (Taiwan and China).
Two couples needed to make disciples through planting churches in Turkey. One couple would focus on pastoral ministry while the other would use ESL Training to make new contacts for the church plant.
Begin a quality programs to teach English to Muslims in areas of high Muslim concentration. Develop relationships and trust with Muslims with the goal of leading them to Christ.
Work with individual Hispanic congregations to begin or strengthen youth ministries in their churches. Mentor young people and help guide them through critical stages of their life. Coordinate and help lead large yearly events for young people.
Develop and start a training center using Shepherds Global Classroom materials in Zambia and possible other countries of southern Africa.
